Recently I began exploring and embracing my creative writing desire and ability. For most of my adult life, my writing has been for business correspondence in the form of letters / email, proposals, marketing, and training. In business writing much of the emotion and playful creativity is stripped away. Yet in my recent projects, I have loosened my tie, cranked the music, and let the feelings flow.

• Along with 14 other authors, my essay is included in the anthology, "The Meaning of Tri: The Hearts and Minds Behind the Swim, Bike and Run," designed by Eli Davis and edited by Brian Brode of Triboomer.com and Staley Krause of MindsetTriathlon.com.
  

• Similarly, my essay "I call it the Bob Johnston" will be published in an anthology regarding work relationships and the importance of everyday interactions with each other titled "Two Degrees of Separation" authored by Tanya Goodwin-Maslach. More information to follow.
